Siriora helps you explore plausible life scenarios through psychometric assessments and AI-powered simulations. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have. Siriora is operated by Siriora (contact details below). By using our website or app, you acknowledge this policy alongside our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

Who is responsible

Siriora is the data controller for personal data processed through siriora.com and related services. For privacy enquiries and data subject requests, contact [email protected].

Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with Siriora, we may process: • Account data: name, email address, password hash, locale, and authentication identifiers (including OAuth provider data if you sign in with Google). • Assessment and profile data: psychometric responses, personality scores, and optional demographic or life-stage inputs you choose to provide. • Life context (LifeContext): optional structured answers about your current situation (relationship, education or work stage, location, and similar fields). • Simulation data: prompts, generated narratives, timelines, notes, forks, and exports you create in the product. • Waitlist data: email address and locale when you join the closed-alpha waitlist before full access is available. • Billing data: subscription plan, payment status, and limited billing metadata processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers). • Support and communications: messages you send us and related metadata. • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, logs, and cookie identifiers (see our Cookie Policy). We ask you not to submit special-category data (such as detailed health diagnoses) unless a specific form clearly requests it and you give separate explicit consent.

Why we use your data

We process personal data to: • Create and secure your account and authenticate sessions. • Run assessments, build your profile, and generate simulations you request. • Personalise outputs using LifeContext and prior simulation history when you opt in to those features. • Operate the waitlist and send related transactional emails (confirmation, access invitations). • Process subscriptions, invoices, and fraud prevention where billing applies. • Provide customer support and improve reliability, security, and product quality. • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: • Contract: providing the service you sign up for, including simulations, exports, and account management. • Consent: optional analytics cookies, marketing where offered, health-related LifeContext fields, and other features that require an explicit opt-in. • Legitimate interests: securing our platform, preventing abuse, improving the product, and communicating important service updates—balanced against your rights. • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements. If you withdraw consent, we stop processing that data for the consent-based purpose, but may continue where another legal basis applies.

Sharing and processors

We share personal data only as needed to operate Siriora, with service providers bound by contract to protect your data, such as: • Cloud hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Railway). • Email delivery (e.g. Resend). • Payment processing (e.g. Stripe or equivalent). • AI inference providers that generate simulation content from your inputs under our instructions. • Analytics providers, only if you accept optional analytics cookies. We may disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards. Simulation outputs you explicitly share via a share link are visible to anyone with that link.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: • Account and simulation data: for the life of your account, unless you delete content or close your account. • Waitlist entries: until you unsubscribe, receive access, or we no longer need the list for launch communications. • Billing records: as required by tax and accounting law. • Logs and security data: typically for a limited period unless needed for an investigation. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain copies for legal compliance or dispute resolution.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access a copy of your personal data. • Correct inaccurate data. • Delete your data or account. • Export your data in a portable format (available from settings where the feature is enabled). • Restrict or object to certain processing. • Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

AI and model training

Siriora uses AI models to generate simulation narratives from your inputs and profile. By default, your data is not used to train third-party foundation models for general purposes. Where the product offers privacy controls (such as opting out of training or telemetry), those settings are honoured. Prompts and outputs may be logged temporarily for abuse prevention, debugging, and quality review with access restricted to authorised personnel.

Life context (LifeContext)

LifeContext is optional structured information you provide after assessments to describe where you are in life today. We use it solely to make your simulations more realistic—not for advertising, resale, or unrelated profiling. Health-related questions, when present, require a separate explicit consent checkbox. You can update LifeContext at any time; each save creates a new version and new simulations use the latest version unless you choose a generic run.

Waitlist and closed alpha

If Siriora is in waitlist or closed-alpha mode, we collect your email to notify you about access and product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential waitlist emails using the link in each message. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or create a contractual entitlement to the full product.

Children

Siriora is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.

Questions or data subject requests: [email protected] We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, or Türkiye and believe we have not resolved your concern, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
